Dear Family

I am pleasure to write this letter to introduce myself. My name is Gao Na from Shanxi Province. Now I am already 20 years old, therefore I want to find more opportunities about different culture.

I have a big family, there are my parents, two brothers, a sister and I. My father is a engineer, he works hard for our live. Most time, he is busy, and always spend a little time stay with us. My mother is a house wife, she is responsible for looking after us, doing housework, and coaching us for our study. My two younger brothers are studying in middle school, I always look after them and teach them. My sister and I are studying in college. I love my family, because it brings lots of happy.

I am a lovely girl, I am crazy about sports. In my spare time, I like playing basketball, long – distance race, badminton and so on. I also like meeting friends. Because I think that friends can help me to get more knowledge and happiness.

I have experience about child care and light house work. In my home, I enjoyed to look after my two younger brothers when my mum was busy. I helped them to take shower, or get dressed, or fed them, or take them to school. They like staying with me, and always ask me to help them solving problems. I also can do the light house work, eg. washing clothes, cooking simple food, clean rooms and so on. After graduated from middle school, I choosed to study four years course – Tourism English in Taiyuan College. During four years, I have learned how to be an indepandent person, how to get along with classmates, and how to deal with all problems by myself.

My major is Tourism English, so I hope to understand different culture and improve my language skills. Au pair is a special program for me. Because I can enjoy staying with children, in the same time, I can understand local life. Holland is my only choice. I love that tulip grows large brightly-colored cup-shaped flower in spring, and I know Napoleon. Now in China, most big brands come from Holland, for example, Philips, Shell, ING and Unilever N.V. I hope that I will have chance to understand this country and find more interesting things. 

Au pair has another meaning – that is culture exchange. I will bring different traditional Chinese culture to your family. I can teach you Chinese, show you how to cook delicious Chinses noodles, or tell you Chinese histoy. I believe that you will enjoy it and love it.

Na Gao, why do you want to work as an au pair??

When I was travelling in France in2008.I was deeply attracted by it, She’s so chramming, And I have aleady learnt French for 6 months in Alliance Francaise in Beijing .
I want to stay in France for a period time to experience genuine French culture and to improve my French .Since I work in a Sino-French joint venture, as a sales manager, I need to keep in touch with my France colleague frequently .So I hope I can understand more about Frenche and it’s culture.
