Languages of China

In china, there are various kinds of minority languages, which is very rare in the world. According to statistics, now there are 80 kind of languages are being used in China, and 117 kind of languages are in danger or dying out, during which 21 kind of languages have vanished, 64 kind of languages are vanishing, 24 kind of languages are on the verge of vanishing, and 8 kind of languages do not possess communicative function. Among these languages, some of which are used by less than 1,000 people, and some of which even are used by fewer people, such as Mo Lao language, only two old people can speak it according to the survey. There are 55 ethnic minorities, generally, Hui ethnic minority group and Han ethnic minority group speak Chinese. And other ethnic groups all have their own languages, some of which have two or more kind of languages. Most of those languages have their unique writing system, grammar, pronunciation, and intonation.
